Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. Imran Khan gained prominence as a cricketer and captained the Pakistan national cricket team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. After retiring from cricket, he turned to politics and founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 1996. Imran Khan became a prominent figure in Pakistani politics and focused on anti-corruption and social justice issues. He campaigned on a platform of change and promised to build a "New Pakistan."
