A Medieval enamel inlaid copper alloy horse harness pendant, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The pendant consists of a trifoliate plate, with a transverse attachment loop projecting from between two lobes at the top. The pendant is inlaid with enamel, depicting three reserved crowns against a blue enamel inlaid field. Each crown is decorated with three jewels on its band, consisting of red enamel inlaid pellets. azure three crowns gold.
I thought I'd try the British museum description again but give it help with the actual object, hoping to get closer to what the orginal looked like. NOT what I got but it's still very nice so I'm sharing.
