ArtistHer faceplate flickers like a dying CRT, warped into the rictus of some long-extinct marine species. She reeks of ozone, hot solder flux, and the sharp metallic bite of xenochemical coolant leaks. Her subdermal utility pouches—poorly anastomosed synthskin flaps—rattle with jagged optical-fiber splinters and hiss with micro-vents bleeding pressurized inert gas. She vector-thrusts away from origin-point at an impossible orthogonal angle, ion drives coughing blue light, while inside the cracked ferro-ceramic dome of her skull a swarm of agitated neuro-drones (thick as hornets, black chrome carapaces, tiny red status-LEDs pulsing) slams against the inside of reinforced containment mesh, buzzing furious static straight into what’s left of her wetware limbic system.
A full-body digital painting shows an astronaut wearing a futuristic, distressed, faded olive green and brown space suit with a clear, spherical helmet containing a broken CRT monitor with static, and several small robotic drones, in a surreal landscape of warped clocks and swirling, abstract architectural elements, creating a dreamlike
