End of another day.

More about End of another day.

An oil painting depicting a surreal and vibrant carnival scene at night, viewed from a low angle. The sky is dark and cloudy with hints of light blue, and a large, full moon with a textured, cratered surface hangs prominently. A towering Ferris wheel dominates the center of the image, its spokes and cars glowing with a bright, ethereal blue light. To the left, a carousel with intricate, ornate horses and a striped red and white tent roof is visible. To the right, various carnival game booths or concession stands with warm, inviting lights and colorful awnings in shades of red, orange, and yellow line the path. The ground is wet and reflective, suggesting a recent rain, with puddles mirroring the lights and structures of the carnival. Scattered across the wet ground are fallen autumn leaves in shades of orange and brown, adding a touch of melancholic beauty. A streetlamp with a hanging light fixture is visible on the right, and a lone figure can be vaguely discerned in the distance near the Ferris wheel, adding to the atmosphere of solitude. The brushstrokes are thick and impasto-like, giving the entire image a dreamlike, textured quality with rich, saturated colors that pop against the dark background.
