Smoldering iron pierces my eyes,
As I step forward into that good night.
The pain is searing, the darkness deep,
Journeying through a world that's lost its sleep.
I stumble forward, one step at a time,
A prisoner to the agony of my sins.
I wonder if there's hope beyond this night,
Or if I'm doomed always to suffer within.
But then I see a glimmer in the dark,
A spark of light that pierces through the night.
Drawn by some unknown force, I move toward
And find a way to rise above the blight.
With each step, the pain begins to fade,
And as I walk, the darkness lifts its veil.
The light grows stronger, guiding me along,
Until I reach a place where finally I belong.
