This is a variation of a scene in the story, “A Mousehole Cat, ” and it looks very much like the style of the illustrator Nicola Bayley. It was fun trying to get this right, but this is a perfect example of AI having the capacity to “steal” style. Most of my AI art mixes up style and form enough that the resulting artwork feels “mine” to me.
This is more of an “homage” to Nicola Bayley…imitation being the most sincere form of flattery and all that. Since I have no plans to commercially publish any of these, I consider them to be an “homage” to Nicola Bayley…imitation being the most sincere form of flattery and all that.
