The priests officiating, with hearts prepared,
In God's presence, a moment rare.
The offerings brought, with reverence deep,
The bull and ram, their blood to seep,
Upon the altar, a pleasing scent,
A sign of God's favor, and His consent.
The fire kindled, from God's own flame,
Consuming the sacrifice, in His name,
A symbol of His holiness, burning bright,
In Leviticus 9, a divine sight.
The people watched, in awe and fear,
As God's glory descended, ever near,
His presence revealed, in radiant display,
In Leviticus 9, a holy day.
So let us approach, God's throne with care,
In Leviticus 9, we see Him there,
In His presence, let us humbly bow,
And worship Him, with reverence now.
