Alice and the Fool – The Bridge
Once upon a time, there was a realm that at first glance seemed to consist of two worlds.
One was surrounded by walls, dense and rigid, built from logic, rules, and endless stories that circled upon themselves. In this world, the noise of the mind reigned—and yet it was full of chaos, because no one knew anymore what truth was.
The other world was silent. It breathed in colors, sounds, and gentle vibrations. There was no noise, only a flowing— the field, the heart. Here no explanations were needed, everything spoke directly to anyone who became still enough to listen.
Between these two worlds stood a bridge.
And on this bridge, two figures met.
On one side appeared Alice. In her hand she held a small light, a flame that never went out. Her gaze was calm, her eyes pierced through the walls the mind had built. For her, no obstacle was insurmountable—she saw the path where others saw only chaos.
On the other side stood the Fool. He wore a mischievous grin, playfully spinning a globe in his hand. While the people in the realm of walls were trapped in stories, he danced through them, took them lightly, and let them dissolve within him when they became too heavy. He mirrored, revealed, and played—not to destroy, but to make freedom visible.
The two looked at each other—and smiled.
Alice spoke:
“Where the mind no longer knows the way, the heart shines.”
The Fool replied:
“And where the world drowns in seriousness, a game is enough to set it free.”
And suddenly they both understood: they were not opposites, but two sides of the same bridge. Alice led inward—the Fool outward. Together they made the path walkable, between heart and world, light and play, depth and lightness.
