If tigers had stripes more like peacocks, we'd be too busy staring and admiring their beauty to notice that we became the prey.
If this were the case, perhaps society would grow to fear color. Opting to bland and cold color palettes to differentiate ourselves from the animals we avoid. But perhaps we already do that with our Nation's colors and symbols. I guess Humans are the animals we ought to avoid, and nationalistic colors are what shapes friend from foe. . .
