A detailed image of a goblin wearing a striped nightshirt and tiny spectacles, sitting at an antique wooden table in a cluttered, candlelit steampunk workshop at night. He is operating a whimsical steampunk-style time-shifting machine equipped with gears, tubes, and glowing glass bulbs. Small, gently floating clocks fill the room with a soft glow. The shelves are filled with dusty tools, books, and labeled jars. The atmosphere is poetic, warm, and eccentric; style in the vein of Benjamin Lacombe, Daniel Dociu, and Wayne Barlowe.include a very small stylized full-body white unicorn logo with delicate proportions and the text “AI by Unicorngraphics” beneath it in the bottom right corner.

The Goblin Who Built the Wrong Time Machine – Part 1 Five Minutes Back
Gribble Nock had never intended to travel to another dimension. In fact, he did not believe other dimensions existed, which made what happened on Tuesday evening particularly inconvenient. His ambition was considerably more modest. He wanted five minutes. Not five years or five centuries. Five minutes would be sufficient. Gribble had spent thirty-seven years repairing clocks beneath his little shop, and during those years he had discovered one universal truth: five minutes could prevent almost any disaster if you were allowed to use them twice. More importantly, five minutes could undo what happened last Thursday, when Gribble accidentally destroyed the finest pocket watch he had ever repaired. It belonged to Mayor Brindlewick, who was returning tomorrow to collect it. Gribble therefore built a machine. It occupied half his workbench and contained seventeen gears, nine copper coils, four glowing tubes and three bottles of substances he had forgotten to label. Around the workshop hung dozens of pocket watches. Gribble had connected every one to the machine with thin copper wires. “Time,” he explained to nobody, “is simply a collection of clocks agreeing with one another. If enough clocks agree to go backwards, time should follow.” It was not his strongest scientific theory, but it was Tuesday and he was tired. At precisely eleven minutes past eight, Gribble placed the broken pocket watch beside the machine and turned a brass lever. Nothing happened. He turned it farther. One glowing tube flickered. A pocket watch above him began ticking backward. “Ha!” Then another joined it. Soon every clock in the workshop was running backward. Gribble watched eagerly as the second hand on his largest wall clock retreated. One minute. Two. The machine began humming. A blue spark jumped between two gears. Gribble frowned. He had not designed anything that produced blue sparks. Three minutes. The bottles on the shelves began vibrating. Four. “Almost there.” At exactly five minutes, every clock stopped. Silence filled the workshop. Gribble stared at them. “Well?” One pocket watch gave a single tick. Forward. Another answered backward. A third spun wildly. Then all the clocks began doing something different. Some raced ahead. Others reversed. One showed thirteen o’clock. Another had lost its hands completely. “That,” Gribble whispered, “is probably not ideal.” The machine gave a deep metallic thump. The workshop changed. One instant Gribble sat among shelves, bottles and brick walls. The next, the wall opposite him vanished.
