Moses stood in awe, the desert heat ablaze,
A bush aglow with fire, its light a wondrous blaze.
He wondered at this marvel, this sight he could not miss,
A bush that burned, yet was not consumed, a mystery of bliss.
He drew near with trembling steps, his curiosity piqued,
And heard a voice, soft yet commanding, as the fire peaked.
"I am the God of your fathers," the voice declared,
"Remove your sandals, for this ground is holy and sacred, be aware."
Moses listened in wonder, his heart filled with fear,
As the voice continued speaking, words that were crystal clear.
"I have seen the suffering of my people in Egypt's land,
I have heard their cries and prayers, I hold them in my hand."
"I have chosen you, Moses, to lead them out of slavery,
To be my instrument of freedom, to set their spirits free.
Go to Pharaoh, demand their release, with signs and wonders,
And I will guide you every step, through deserts and thunder."
Moses trembled with doubt, feeling unworthy of the task,
But the voice reassured him, removing his fear's mask.
"I will be with you, Moses, every step along the way,
I will provide the words to speak, and show you what to say."
With courage renewed, Moses heeded the voice's call,
He followed its guidance, standing tall and standing small.
He faced Pharaoh with conviction, demanding freedom's release,
And witnessed plagues and miracles, signs of God's great peace.
Through trials and tribulations, Moses led his people forth,
Across the Red Sea, through the wilderness, towards a new worth.
The burning bush, a symbol of God's presence and guiding light,
Leading Moses and his people, through day and through night.
And so, the tale of Moses and the burning bush,
Is a story of faith, of courage, and of trust.
A reminder that even in the midst of life's fiery trials,
God's guidance and protection are constant, lasting all the while.
