Small wooden cups sit on the tables in front of them. The cups contain a golden-honey colored liquid. In a corner, three anthropomorphic cats and two anthropomorphic dogs sit at a small rough-hewn, wooden table. The three anthropomorphic cats sit on the left side of the table, the two anthropomorphic dogs sit facing them on the right side of the table. The first anthropomorphic cat is fully white, the second anthropomorphic cat is orange and roundish and the third anthropomorphic cat is an elderly tabby. The three anthropomorphic cats wear red robes and cloaks and carry a rapier in a sheath attached to their belt. The first dog is a an anthropomorphic German spaniel which sits facing the anthropomorphic cats. The anthropomorphic german spaniel has uniform glossy reddish-brown fur that shimmers in the light. The anthropomorphic german spaniel wears an elegant dark green dress and carries a brown leather bag on its right side with the strap of the bag draped over the spaniel's left shoulder. The second dog is an anthropomorphic transylvanian hound which sits next to the anthropomorphic German spaniel. The anthropomorphic transylvanian hound wears black robes and a black cloak with a high collar and prominently shows his long canines protruding past his lower lip. Small wooden cups sit on the tables in front of them. The cups contain a golden-honey colored liquid.
Cautiously Agatha Misty approaches the three Wiskerteers and inquires about their business in Antonesia. They immediately recognize her as the famous dogtective from Caninia. They tell her that they have been charged with investigating the theft of the tennis balls by Queen Aphrodite Giant and have since followed the clues they could gather to Antonesia. Agatha Misty agrees to share information with them. If they work together, not only will that enhance their chances of solving this case, but it will also serve as proof that cats and dogs can work together and strengthen the bonds between the two countries.
She tells the Wiskerteers about her interviews with the many people of Caninia. Especially about Don Mastiffioso, who, after the interruption of the spy, had much to tell them. He admitted that he was a financial backer for Captain Störte Becker's legal trade, though he denied any knowledge of any smuggling - except for one case where he discovered that Störte Becker was involved in smuggling not only goods but even people, without Don Mastiffiosos knowledge. Apparently, a few month ago, Störte Becker was payed by ants to bring a package from Snakelorien to Antonesia. Some time later, Störte Becker accepted money to bring several ant agents to Caninia discreetly. Dom Matiffioso denies having known anything about these dealings or the intentions behind them.
The Wiskerteers tell Agatha Misty about the untreated Sunsteel that was stolen in Snakelorien and about the hut they found. The architecture of the hut clearly showed Antonesian origin. They also inform Agatha Misty about the warning of Queen Cobriel, that if this crisis were to shatter the fragile bonds formed between their three nations by the marriage of King Charles Spaniel and Queen Aphrodite Giant, they would all be vulnerable to being subjugated by Antonesia.
"We think they are trying to cause strife, so that they can destroy us, one by one," Athena explains.
"Then we must show them that our alliance is stronger than their hate," Lord Dogula counsels. "Let us work together to expose their scemes."
