Canvas of and portrait work-in-progress by the bionic artist Capaldi, a character in "Klara and the Sun" by kasuo Ishiguro. The following is my invention, not past of the book, and is illustrated here - Capaldi tests uploading the identity of the dying human woman he's making this cyborg portrait for. The experiment fails.
