ArtistA country without children is a country without a future. Adults of all ages stand around a large mountain of children's toys. There are no children amongst them. Above the mountain of toys is an opening through the cloud cover where the sun shines down on the mountain of toys. High in the sky you see bomber airplanes. The adults stand in the shadow of the clouds. The landscape beyond is barren, dark and filled with dead trees
A dramatic scene depicting a crowd of people, including families and soldiers, gathered around a pile of toys under a tumultuous sky filled with planes. The atmosphere blends sorrow and nostalgia.
