Sisyphus's last wish to his wife was to be thrown into the public square, naked. After dying and waking up in Hades near The Ferryman, Sisyphus inferred he was given funerary rites and therefore his wife had disrespected his wishes. He finagled a 'visit" to the mortal plane in order to haunt and otherwise harass his wife, who presumably had finally had some peace and quiet. Sisyphus also overstayed his time there, prompting *ANOTHER* divine intervention.
