In Judges Chapter 7, a story grand,
Gideon's faith, put to the test, firsthand.
With thousands of soldiers, at his command,
God whittled them down, with a masterful hand.
From thirty-two thousand, to a mere three hundred,
Gideon's army, seemed meager and plundered.
But God had a plan, perfectly numbered,
To show His power, unfailing and unencumbered.
With torches and trumpets, Gideon led the way,
In the dark of night, at break of day.
The Midianites, in fear did sway,
God's victory, on full display.
The enemy fled, in confusion and fright,
As Gideon's faith, shone bright in the night.
God's plan unfolded, with perfect might,
In Judges Chapter 7, a victory's sight.
So let us trust in God's ways unknown,
His wisdom and power, fully shown.
In our weakness, His strength is sown,
In Judges Chapter 7, His victory is known.
