The largest planet in our solar system is Jupiter. Jupiter is a gas giant planet with a diameter of about 86,881 miles (139,822 kilometers), which is more than 11 times the diameter of Earth. It is also the fifth planet from the sun and has a mass that is 2.5 times greater than all of the other planets in the solar system combined. Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen and helium gas, and it has a strong magnetic field that is about 20,000 times stronger than Earth's magnetic field. The planet also has a system of rings, although they are not as prominent as Saturn's rings.
