Artistic Statement: In the combined traditions of Picasso and Braque, the figures are dissected into angular planes of Cubist abstraction. Schiele informs the taut, expressive outline work, raw and tense. Balthus contributes a psychological ambiguity and suspended stillness. Turrell suffuses the composition with chromatic atmospheres, light as presence. The piece oscillates between conflict and balance — predator and prey as equals in a symbolic treaty.
