It's Hard to Sit on the Throne

More about It's Hard to Sit on the Throne

Трудно усидеть на троне
И на голове удержать корону,
Не потерять при этом облик человека
И быть твёрдым, как скорлупа ореха.

A long shot captures a solemn interior scene where a powerful old king sits on an ornate black throne in a dimly lit, high-ceilinged gothic chamber. The king has a long white beard and mustache, a stern expression, and is adorned with a golden crown and a luxurious dark robe with elaborate gold embroidery, flowing onto a red and gold patterned rug. His hands rest on the arms of the throne, suggesting a moment of contemplation or decree. To his left and right, two bald men in dark hooded cloaks stand with their backs to the viewer, facing the king as if awaiting an audience or command. They stand on the dark stone floor, illuminated by the soft glow of several lit candles in decorative candelabras. A table, possibly an altar or sideboard, stands between each cloaked figure and the king, laden with various ornate metallic vessels and more lit candles. On the right table, a candle flame burns intensely, with a wisp of smoke rising. The background features dark, gothic architecture with pointed archways, intricate carvings, and high ceilings, reinforcing the grandeur and ancient feel of the setting. The lighting is dramatic, with highlights on the king and candle flames, and deep shadows in the corners of the room, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
