Chains of expectations, society's norms,
Dictating our path, in prescribed forms.
Bound by obligations, duties to fulfill,
Sometimes losing ourselves, against our will.
Chains of memories, both sweet and sour,
Moments cherished, or ones we'd rather devour.
Holding us back, or propelling us forward,
Shackles of the past, sometimes a burden.
Chains of fears, doubts that hold us tight,
Limiting our reach, blocking our sight.
Holding us back from taking a leap,
Keeping us within a comfort zone, so deep.
Yet, amidst the chains, there's strength to find,
A fire within, a spirit that's not confined.
Breaking free, with courage and might,
Embracing life's journey, in a daring flight.
So, let us strive, and break the chains,
Embrace the unknown, and break the constraints.
Life's journey, a symphony to play,
Unfolding before us, each and every day.
