On a moonless night, so dark and deep,
A raven flew, a secret to keep.
Its wings were black as midnight's shroud,
Its beady eyes, so piercing and proud.
With feathers sleek, and talons sharp,
It soared above, without a harp.
Its croaky caw, a haunting sound,
Echoed through the misty ground.
Through forests dense, it glided low,
Its ebony plumage in eerie glow.
A creature of mystery and dread,
It filled the night with silent dread.
The Black Raven, a harbinger of gloom,
A messenger from beyond the tomb.
Its presence spoke of doom and plight,
A symbol of darkness, a bird of the night.
So heed its warning, if you dare,
For in its eyes, a message rare.
Beware the shadows, beware the dark,
For the Black Raven leaves its mark.
