With ropes and gear, the cliff climber,
Ascends the rock face ever higher,
Step by step, with focus dire,
To reach the summit and inspire.
The wind may howl, the rocks may shake,
But still the climber does not break,
For they are strong and resolute,
And will not falter or dilute.
With every hold, a new challenge,
But still the climber does not scavenge,
For they have trained both heart and mind,
And know that fear they'll leave behind.
And when they reach the topmost peak,
The view they see is nothing meek,
For miles and miles, the land extends,
And with it, all of life transcends.
