ArtistAncient fresh water spring bubbles and flows beautifully from a rock pool hidden in the depths of the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave. Behind the pool are the ancient cave drawings, barely visible in the dim light of a few hand held torches, their bearers are unseen. The moving water draws and captures the light in a magical way. In the water, a female shaman supports an ill child so that the child can safely float on his back in the sacred pool. The shaman has few, simple but powerful looking tattoos and is very simply dressed. The shaman wears a rock pendant with a single stone with intense chatoyance. The child's clothing is also very simple. Very low and few light sources, the light seems to be coming from within the pool itself and the shaman's gem.
