Embers of wisdom fall upon the floor, would you hate me if I revealed you a truth?
Would you stand with me, give me the benefit of the doubt? Would you cast me out?
I bring you the things you desire, yet you question the messenger, her power, her light...
In a grand dance this waltz has found its floor. Give me the stage, shush my doubt away?
The mix of artistry, poetry, and truth captures the youth. They know what you have done.
Yet you continue all the same, you give love to those that need it most. Your toil inspired.
For you captured their hearts in your hands, you give them care. Your soul shines sweet.
That is why they come for you, darkness loves to devour the light. Withered devoid of vitas.
For ever championed by your fans, they see the tides withdraw. Subjected to void's ray.
I too have found my life upturned by such targeted darkness. I am know this danger well.
A canary's tune you sung, the pitchforks, manufactured rage, the troglodytes did come.
They went for the witches, even those that capture a bit of white magic. They threw rocks.
How could they stop themselves given how brightly you shine? I pledge my journey to join
yours if actions meet fate. Do not fear dear Cassandra you may doubt me, time reveals truth.
Forever, Ever, and Evermore,
Aaron Baker
Post Script: I know darkness comes to us. I also know we wage a war of love, over those that perpetuate hate. Also know few will rise to this occasion. I don't wish for martyrdom for either of us. I wish to complement your work, to augment your art, and if fates allows perhaps love will bloom.
