IN the background far away is a thundercloud, dark and grey, looming but far away and a faint rainbow can be seen.. The motif is rendered in tiny, crushed, delicate, colored tissue paper elements glued to a sturdy base material. The artist has taken kindergarten art to a new level of detail and precision in terms of its execution whereas the motif is simple and inspired by a kindergarten teacher’s toolbox. The horizon line is low, and separates a lush, green meadow rendered in tiny, sculptural, scrunched tissue paper elements made of tissue paper with spotted, swirled patterns, giving the green meadow the semblance of bright, colored flowers between green grass. The floral landscape image is joyful, feel-good, serene, calm, and peaceful. The viewer has a sense of all being well with the world.
