In Deuteronomy, a chapter grand,
God's laws of love, a guiding hand.
Chapter twenty-four, a treasure trove,
Of principles to shape and prove.
A man shall not take back, with haste,
His former wife, a bitter taste.
For once divorced, her path is free,
No bondage to the past shall be.
A debtor's cloak shall not be kept,
But timely returned, no debt adept.
For God's provision is enough,
To bless with plenty, smooth and rough.
The gleanings of the harvest field,
The orphan's share, a heart revealed.
The stranger's wage, paid on that day,
God's justice shines in every way.
So let us heed the words divine,
In Deut, Chapter Twenty-Four's design.
For blessings flow when we obey,
God's perfect will, day by day.
