ArtistI am full of a sense of importance, Of Salmon, iced fruitcake and Bread. And I feel in my belly a warning that My stomach now gurgles with dread. For what is a king without feasting? A mere shadow too weary to chew. But this ache in my gut is increasing— I fear I've ingested a shoe.

My version extends the Kipling poem making it fit for a king...
