This image was prompted by the closing words of an Edgar Allan Poe story I read as a kid. "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" The closing words were pretty horrible... his whole frame at once -- within the space of a single minute, or even less, shrunk -- crumbled -- absolutely rotted away beneath my hands. Upon the bed, before that whole company, there lay a nearly liquid mass of loathsome -- of detestable putridity.
Prompt: Semi-Hyperrealistic, full length portrait vibrant, breath-taking oil painting art of an anthropomorphic loathsome mass of detestable putrescence buying and Ice cream cone from a 1950s vintage American Dream style Ice cream van in an American Dream town as onlookers gasp with shock as they see the mass of detestable putrescence vibrant image (no frame, no borders, no hat)
A detailed painting shows a large, green, oozing, muscular monster with large eyes, fangs, and a terrifying roar, extending its arm to grab a swirl ice cream cone from the hands of a horrified ice cream truck lady. The truck is white with red and blue stripes and has the words "Sweet Dreams Delicious Treats Ice Cream" written on the side and a picture of an ice cream cone. The monster has money in its other hand. Behind the monster is a crowd of terrified onlookers, including a man hugging his child and a group of adults covering their mouths. In the background are various trees, houses, and cars under a clear sky. There is an American flag on a flagpole behind the monster and the people.
