Food Soldiers

More about Food Soldiers

A Pre-Raphaelite style painting featuring five medieval-looking men outdoors in a grassy landscape with rolling hills, trees, and a distant castle or city under a partly cloudy sky. The man in the center has a brown beard, a glowing golden halo behind his head, and wears a blue cape over elaborate golden armor, and he holds a long staff with a large fork on top. Flanking this central figure are four other men, also with golden halos and wearing medieval tunics, helmets, and armor; the two men closer to the center hold long staffs topped with oversized spoons, while the two outer men hold similar spoon-staffs. Above the central figure, a small, abstract winged creature or angel descends, and the entire scene is framed by a simple wooden border.
