From distant worlds it came to Earth,
A plant that knows no bounds or girth,
With roots that grip the soil tight,
And leaves that shade out all the light.
It spreads its vines without a care,
And chokes the life out everywhere,
A pestilence that knows no rest,
This alien plant, an unwelcome guest.
