A rotting log is a dragon's head.
A mossy branch is a fairy's bed.
That scraggly hill of leafy loam
Is a tiny condo for a gnome.
The tree trunk sculptures deserve applause,
And I never want to leave because
There are so many wonderful things in disguise
When I walk in the woods with DDG eyes.
