Part 4 from my Africa Trip

Diving into the waters of Lake Malawi to collect snails and other samples, I was able to see the extraordinary Malawian African Cichlid species in their full glory. There were so many, it was incredible. I completely nerded out trying to identify each that I knew from books and University. It was a freshwater reef of amazing color and beauty. We also were out far enough to not have to worry about the Crocs too, though you could never completely ignore that danger as we had already learned.
