ArtistCreate an extremely frightening Halloween dark fantasy horror illustration in a highly detailed, realistic painterly storybook style. Landscape format 4:3. Scene: Deep beneath an abandoned medieval farmhouse lies an ancient underground potato storage vault. A gigantic, horrifying, partially rotten potato monster is crawling out of a torn burlap sack, surrounded by broken wooden crates and scattered potatoes. The creature has an enormous, irregularly shaped potato body with rough, deeply wrinkled brown skin, dark rotten patches, deep cracks, lumps and patches of damp soil. Its surface is covered with dozens of natural potato eyes, but many have transformed into terrifying, small, glowing yellow eyeballs staring in different directions. Two enormous, bloodshot amber eyes dominate its grotesque face beneath heavy, twisted brows. A gigantic jagged crack across its body forms a horrifying open mouth, filled with multiple rows of crooked, sharp, decaying ivory teeth. Its expression is furious, hungry and completely insane. Thick, black, tangled potato roots emerge from its body, forming long, spider-like legs with sharp, twisted claws. Smaller roots creep across the wet stone floor and wrap around rusty farming tools and broken wooden crates. Pale, unnatural sprouts grow from its upper surface like grotesque horns. Atmosphere: Extremely dark, sinister and claustrophobic. Ancient stone walls, rotting wooden beams, hanging cobwebs, dusty shelves, old potato sacks and scattered soil. A rusty lantern provides a faint, flickering amber glow. Cold bluish moonlight enters through a narrow opening near the ceiling. Thick greenish mist crawls along the damp floor. Dramatic cinematic horror lighting, deep black shadows, eerie reflections, extraordinary organic textures, realistic decaying surfaces, oppressive gothic atmosphere. The creature must remain unmistakably recognizable as a gigantic potato transformed into a terrifying monster. Grotesque, menacing, genuinely frightening. Not cute, not funny, not cartoonish. No human body or clothing. Low camera angle, powerful central composition, entire monstrous potato clearly visible. No titles, no captions, no additional text. Small white unicorn emblem with the words "AI by Unicorngraphics" in the lower-right corner.
An English Halloween Horror-Comedy Story
Nobody in the village of Grimswick remembered exactly when the potatoes in Edgar Pottle's cellar had begun screaming. Mrs. Bellweather next door claimed someone was murdering a choir beneath her kitchen. When Edgar said he was sorting vegetables, a potato shouted, "YOU MISSED ONE!" She fainted. Edgar had inherited the cellar, the cottage, and a handwritten warning from his grandfather: NEVER LET THE POTATOES LEARN YOUR NAME. He no longer thought it was gardening advice. On the third evening before Halloween, Edgar descended the cellar steps carrying a lantern and a bag of salt. Something enormous shifted beneath a mound of burlap sacks. Twenty yellow eyes opened in the darkness. Then another twelve. A mouth unfolded across a knobbly brown face, revealing teeth that looked like sharpened turnips. Black, rootlike claws scraped the stone floor. "WHO DARES DISTURB THE KING OF THE UNDERGROUND?" the creature roared. Edgar stared. "I was looking for two potatoes for dinner." The monster leaned forward, dripping something Edgar sincerely hoped was gravy. "YOU WILL ADDRESS ME AS LORD TUBERIUS, DEVOURER OF HARVESTS, MASTER OF THE DEEP SOIL!" "Right," said Edgar. "Are you floury or waxy?" The creature blinked all thirty-two eyes. "WHAT?" "For roasting. It makes a difference." Lord Tuberius gave a scream so terrible that three spiders abandoned their webs and moved to the attic. Edgar dropped the salt and fled upstairs. The roar had curdled the milk. By breakfast, the entire village knew. Mrs. Bellweather organized an emergency meeting and charged admission. The mayor arrived wearing a helmet. The vicar brought holy water. The butcher brought a carving knife and looked dangerously optimistic."We must destroy it," announced the mayor. "We must understand it," said the vicar. "We must find out whether it goes well with rosemary," said the butcher. Edgar asked everyone to wait. Nobody did. Lord Tuberius rose from his nest of rotten sacks, spread his claws, and bellowed, "MORTALS! YOUR FINAL HOUR HAS COME!" The mayor dropped his helmet. The vicar splashed holy water over his own shoes. The butcher peered at the creature and said, "Bit much for one Sunday lunch." Tuberius crushed a crate. "I HAVE SLEPT BENEATH THIS HOUSE FOR NINETY-NINE YEARS! I HAVE DREAMED OF CONQUEST, DARKNESS, AND THE END OF ALL HUMANITY!" "Ninety-nine years?" Edgar repeated. "Grandfather stored the harvest down here in 1927." The monster shuddered. "THAT MAN WAS A FIEND." "He was a retired postman." "HE OWNED THE IRON INSTRUMENT." Thirty-two eyes turned toward a rusty potato masher by the door. Tuberius recoiled, smashing a shelf with his backside. "REMOVE THAT ABOMINATION!" Edgar looked at the masher, then at the monster. Edgar had an idea. "You mean this?" he asked, lifting the utensil. Tuberius screamed and crawled backward so quickly that he knocked over six barrels and a sleeping rat. "KEEP IT AWAY!" "Its weakness!" cried the mayor. "Its kitchen preferences," said Edgar. The villagers named Edgar Monster Negotiator and gave him an apron. That evening, Edgar returned downstairs with the masher in one hand and a notebook in the other. "We need rules," he said. Tuberius crouched behind a barrel. "I DO NOT OBEY RULES." "No screaming after ten. No eating the plumbing. And absolutely no emerging during breakfast." "I SHALL CONSUME YOUR SOUL!" "Fine, but wash your claws first." They argued. Tuberius demanded dominion over the village, twelve sacrifices per month, and a throne made from human skulls. Edgar offered an empty coal bucket, unlimited compost, and one hour of supervised terror on Halloween. Tuberius considered this. "CAN I HAVE A CAPE?" "If you stop chewing the staircase." They shook hands. Edgar regretted it. On Halloween night, Grimswick gathered outside the cottage. Edgar had built a wooden stage above the cellar entrance and hung a sign: THE TERRIFYING LORD TUBERIUS — ONE NIGHT ONLY.Tickets cost two pounds. Children entered free. At seven precisely, the trapdoor burst open. Smoke rolled across the stage. Thirty-two yellow eyes glowed.Lord Tuberius emerged, towering above the crowd, his fangs dripping, his claws reaching toward the moon. "TREMBLE, PATHETIC CREATURES! I BRING THE NIGHTMARE OF A THOUSAND HARVESTS!" A little girl in a witch costume raised her hand. "Why have you got so many eyes?" "TO SEE YOUR DOOM FROM EVERY ANGLE!" "Can you see behind yourself?" Tuberius paused. "OF COURSE." "Then why did you sit on your cape?" The audience laughed. The monster twisted around, discovered that his magnificent black cape was trapped beneath his enormous body, and fell sideways into a wheelbarrow. The crowd applauded wildly.Tuberius was furious. "YOU WILL REGRET THIS INSOLENCE!" "Brilliant!" shouted Mrs. Bellweather. "Do the falling-over bit again!" A boy offered him a chocolate biscuit.Tuberius sniffed it suspiciously. "WHAT IS THIS DARK MAGIC?" "Chocolate." The monster swallowed it, wrapper and all.
