In Leviticus, a chapter quite unclean,
A topic spoken of, but rarely seen,
Bodily discharges, rules laid out clear,
For men and women, it's a taboo to fear.
For women's issue, days of separation,
A monthly cycle, a time of cessation,
To cleanse themselves and offer a prayer,
Before rejoining the community's fare.
For men, nocturnal emission, a cause for pause,
A cleansing ritual, per God's laws,
To purify the body, restore its grace,
In Leviticus, a sacred space.
So, let us heed these ancient words,
From Leviticus, where wisdom girds,
For cleanliness and holiness, it's the plea,
A divine lesson for you and me.
