ArtistAt night, there is a fancy Victorian hotel ballroom with a high ceiling and with two enormous chocolate fountains. One chocolate fountain is in the foreground, on the left, and the other chocolate fountain is in the background, on the right. The walls of the elegant ballroom are light gold in color. There are lots of fancy crystal chandeliers providing warm light. There are a few large, exquisite paintings with antique gold frames hung on the walls. Old men with white hair, handle-bar mustaches, some with white beards and fancy walking canes are wearing elegant 19th century attire, including top hats. None of the men is wearing any rings, and all of them have different-looking faces. Most of them are wearing glasses. These white-haired Victorian gentlemen are casually holding cucumbers that are pointed away from them. They are also holding glasses of Brandy. They are also smiling and talking, and a few are even hugging each other. Santa Claus is also present in the group, holding a big cucumber, and wearing his traditional red and white costume with a red and white hat. Santa Claus also has another green cucumber in a woman’s oblong, green satin purse with white fur trim that is attached to his belt.
A grand, high-ceilinged hall, richly decorated with ornate crown molding, is the setting for a surreal gathering. On the left, a towering, multi-tiered chocolate fountain overflows with glossy, cascading rivers of milk chocolate into a wide, stainless steel basin below. A second, smaller chocolate fountain is visible in the background on the right. Filling the room are several elderly men with long, flowing white beards and round wire-rimmed glasses. Many are dressed in formal Victorian-era attire: black tailcoats, crisp white shirts, dark bow ties, and waistcoats. Some wear top hats and carry walking sticks. In the foreground and center, a cheerful Santa Claus in his traditional red and white velvet suit stands out. Santa wears a black belt with a gold buckle, white gloves, and black boots. A green satin bag slung over his shoulder overflows with green cucumbers. Santa and the men around him are all holding fresh, crisp cucumbers instead of sweet treats, holding them up as if making a toast.
