A vivid, artistic representation of a human head in profile, filled with colorful, interconnected spheres symbolizing complex thoughts or ideas.
Brain cells are connected to each other. This drawing has been in my head for a long time and today I made it. All those cells stored in our skull collect our new experiences and create memories that are linked and colored by what we have already experienced. They then also determine how we look at new stimuli from our senses and how we feel. I once understood that brains are lazy, which means that fast connections are created to do a lot with little energy. That probably explains the bubble thinking and polarization. Thoughts that require a lot of effort are the most interesting for gaining new insights. Maybe that's why all the connections in my drawing are almost the same thickness. Then every thought gets a chance to be there.
The #huiskamerartiest tries to be open to approaching reality from all kinds of angles.
