A cinematic Italian gothic-horror scene inspired by The Red Queen Kills Seven Times (1972). A mysterious raven-haired woman known as the Red Queen stands in the shadowy corridor of an ancient aristocratic mansion, said to return every hundred years to commit seven murders. She wears an extravagant crimson velvet robe and flowing red cape with long black satin gloves. Waist-length flowing raven hair frames her unnaturally pale, beautiful face and big cold dark, hypnotic eyes; she appears like an elegant resurrected aristocratic specter rather than an ordinary murderer. Her long bright crimson cloak trails across a polished black-and-white marble floor turning fluidly into flowing/oozing puddle of blood. One gloved hand rests on an antique door, the other emerging ominously from beneath the cape. Around her: dark carved wood, Gothic mirrors, faded portraits, tarnished silver candelabras, burgundy curtains, cracked marble and drifting dust. Seven extinguished candles line the corridor, with one still burning. In the huge antique mirror behind her, her reflection is subtly different—more corpse-like, distorted, crowned by a shadow resembling a blood-red queen's crown. 1970s Italian giallo, gothic mystery, supernatural dread, decadent aristocratic horror, deep crimson and black, cold blue moonlight, dramatic chiaroscuro, theatrical composition, analog film grain, eerie beauty, restrained violence, haunting rather than grotesque, ultra-detailed cinematic photography, dark romanticism, unsettling symmetry, 16:9 widescreen.
