- Let them learn that you cannot force love from anyone. You have to let them love you. The most valuable thing is not what we want in life, but who is next to us. Let them learn that it is not appropriate to measure yourself against others, to be judged by yourself. Accept that the rich are not those who have the most, but those who need the least. Learn that it only takes a few seconds to inflict deep wounds on those we love, but it takes many, many years for them to heal. Forgiveness must be learned by practicing forgiveness. It must be accepted that there are people who feel deeply but have not learned to show their emotions. You have to learn that money can buy anything, but not happiness. Two people can look at the same thing and still see two different things. We have to learn that a real friend is someone who knows everything about us and still loves us. It is not always enough for others to forgive us, we must also forgive ourselves.
