More about America Crumbling - Poem

Amidst the land of hope and dreams,
A nation built on liberty it seems,
The cracks appear, the walls grow thin,
As America crumbles from within.
From sea to shining sea once bright,
Now shadows loom in endless night,
The pillars of democracy sway,
As divisions deepen day by day.
The fabric of society frays,
As justice bends and truth decays,
The voices of the marginalized cry,
But deafened ears ignore their sigh.
The foundation of unity shakes,
As hate and fear fuel the fakes,
The land of the free and brave,
Now trapped in the echo of its own cave.
The world looks on with pained surprise,
As America crumbles before their eyes,
A great nation once standing tall,
Now lost in its own internal brawl.
Oh, America, can you not see?
The cost of your disunity?
The price of your complacency?
As you crumble in front of history.
But hope still flickers in the night,
As those who love you choose to fight,
To rebuild what once was great,
And restore the values of the United States.
