More about The Plague of Locusts - Exodus Chapter 10 Poem

In Egypt's land, a plague of locusts came
A swarm so vast, it covered fields in shame
Exodus Ten, a warning from above
To show God's might, and His unwavering love
The locusts darkened skies, a fearsome sight
They devoured crops, in the day and night
No green was left, no tree or blade of grass
As Egypt's land lay bare, an empty mass
Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, his will unbent
He refused to yield, despite the torment
But Moses spoke, with God's command in hand
"Let my people go, to the Promised Land"
Pharaoh pleaded, "I have sinned, I'm wrong"
He begged for mercy, as the swarm thronged
And so, the locusts vanished, as quickly as they came
But Pharaoh's heart, remained the same
Exodus Ten, a lesson to be learned
That God's power cannot be overturned
His patience endless, His grace profound
As He leads His people, homeward bound.
