ArtistA long, narrow corridor in a decaying Gothic mansion. The walls are covered in faded, blood-red wallpaper adorned with large, dark sunflowers. The spider is utterly still, as if waiting or watching. The boy exhales, “Oh, it is only a spider...” Suddenly the spider moves, the boy crouches, spider crawls off, and scuttles away frantically. “Now where should I go from here?” asks the boy looking around the corridor. Behind him, the corridor stretches into darkness, the sunflower eyes seeming to follow him. The atmosphere is suffocating with paranoia and the uncanny.
