More about Water from the Rock - Exodus Chapter 17 Poem

In Exodus Chapter 17, the story goes,
The Israelites wandered, weary and slow,
Thirsty and famished in the desert sand,
With no water to drink in the barren land.
They grumbled and murmured, their voices loud,
Their faith in God, now shrouded in doubt.
But Moses prayed with faith so true,
Seeking guidance, a miracle anew.
God heard his cry, with compassion deep,
He told Moses to strike a rock with a sweep,
And water gushed forth, a miraculous stream,
Quenching their thirst, like a heavenly dream.
Exodus 17, a tale of hope and grace,
A reminder that God's love will never erase,
Even in the desert, when trials seem dire,
His mercy and provision will never tire.
