ArtistDo not change absolutely anything!
"The Little Pouch with Two Coins" is a celebrated work by Ion Creangă that recounts the extraordinary journey of a rooster expelled from his home by his owner (the old man)—influenced by his spouse (the old woman), who imposes an unreasonable demand upon the animal: that it produce eggs. During his travels, the rooster discovers a small pouch holding two coins, yet a passing nobleman in a carriage unjustly appropriates it. Armed with determination and magical abilities, the rooster relentlessly pursues the nobleman, persistently demanding his coins be returned. To escape the troublesome bird, the nobleman resorts to attempting the rooster's destruction through multiple violent methods:
• He casts it into a well (though the rooster drinks all the water).
• He casts it into a raging furnace (though the rooster uses the water he drank to quench the flames).
• He casts it among his livestock and into his storehouse of valuables (though the rooster ingests them entirely).
In the end, horrified by the rooster's extraordinary endurance and strength, the nobleman surrenders the bag. The rooster—now possessing immense wealth—returns to the old man, delivering all the treasures he had consumed, while the resentful old woman receives nothing except her own bitterness. This narrative serves as a comic allegory about justice, greed, and the triumph of the oppressed ones.
