ArtistFrom the street, the detective's room is visible through the window; a notebook filled with notes and corrections lies on the desk, alongside an antique inkwell with a stained pen, old photographs, and a camera with a gleaming lens. Bright light from a desk lamp picks out the objects on the table against blue shadows on the wall; light watercolor effect, high-quality detail, masterpiece.
A medium shot depicts a dark rainy day viewed through a glass window, with raindrops and condensation on the glass surface. The focus is on a desk with papers, a vintage camera, and a lamp. The lamp, on the right, has an adjustable metal arm and a white lampshade that casts a bright yellow light, illuminating the desk and its items. Next to the lamp, on the right, is a vintage camera with a dark, textured body and a large lens in the center. Next to the camera, a stack of papers and a small wooden tool. In the center of the desk, there is a small white saucer with a small white inkwell, a compass in an open lid, and a pen on the saucer. On the left, an open notebook with handwritten notes and a dark drawing, with a small metal object on the left page. Above the notebook, some letters and a stack of papers. The background is a blue-tinted, hazy, and out-of-focus window, with dark, indistinct shapes that suggest a cityscape or landscape under a rainy sky. The lighting is warm and focused on the desk items, creating a cozy yet melancholic atmosphere.
