Fun fact: Rüsselkäfer is often translated as weevils. However, biologically the terms do not represent the exact same taxonomic group.
Weevils = Curculionoidea
Rüsselkäfer = Curculionidae
So taxonomically all Rüsselkäfer are weevils but not all weevils are Rüsselkäfer. The English terms for Rüsselkäfer are snout beetles or true weevils.
