God's law revealed in Exodus, Chapter Twenty-Three,
A guiding light for all to see,
Instructing His people in righteous ways,
Bringing justice to their days.
Laws of love and compassion, divine,
For all to follow, a sacred sign,
To care for the poor, the widow, and the stranger,
And to shield them from harm and danger.
Rest for the land, a Sabbath year,
To let it rest, to cultivate and rear,
A reminder of God's abundant grace,
His providence and blessings to embrace.
Three times a year, a pilgrimage to make,
To worship God, for His name's sake,
To celebrate His feasts with joy and cheer,
With grateful hearts, drawing near.
Promises of protection, guidance, and might,
As God leads His people day and night,
His angel goes before, to guard the way,
Assuring His presence, come what may.
So let us heed God's law anew,
In Exodus, Chapter Twenty-Three so true,
Embracing justice, love, and grace,
Walking in His righteous ways, in every place.
