A captain bold with eyes like flame,
Set sail on sand in fortune's name.
No sea beneath, no tide nor brine—
Her ship, the wind, her course, divine.
Through dunes that whispered ancient lore,
She chased a myth from days of yore:
A castle lost in golden sweep,
Where kings of old forever sleep.
The sun bore down, the stars stood guard,
Each step was dry, each breath was hard.
Yet still she rode the storm-swept sea,
Of dust and fate and mystery.
And when at last the moonlight shone,
Upon carved gates of silent stone,
She smiled and said, “The map was true—
A desert’s heart beats deeper too.
