Prompt by @Peter the Mongoose
A Tuareg in blue robes stands beside a camel at an oasis under a starry twilight sky, surrounded by palm trees and tranquility.
The Tuareg - better known as the Blue Men of the Sahara, because they traditionally wear the indigo tagelmust, or turban, which stains the skin blue. There are about one million Tuareg living in Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Algeria and Libya. Fiercely independent they are loyal to their tribe rather than any recognised government. They have a saying, “Never refuse to allow someone’s camel to drink from your well; you never know when your camel may need to drink from their well.”
