Three classical or neo classical artists, Monet, Vermeer and Botticelli, have tumbled out of a portal for time travel and have just discovered the sculptural works of Henry Moore. Their discovery has inspired them to collaborate and create one of their own sculptures in bronze, redolent of their respective tastes and artistic background, which is in juxtaposition next to one of Henry Moore's greatest sculptures. The entire scene is depicted in the combined painting styles of Monet, Vermeer and Botticelli.
A bronze sculpture featuring two women, each sitting down. The woman on the left is seated with her knees bent and her arms wrapped around them, her head bowed in contemplation. She wears a flowing garment that drapes gracefully around her body and pools at her feet. Her hair is styled in an ornate bun at the back of her head. The woman on the right is also seated, facing towards the right with her head slightly bowed, looking down at her hands which are clasped together at chest level in prayer like form. She wears a flowing robe draped around her shoulders and arms, forming elegant folds and cascades down her body, nearly touching the floor. Both statues rest on a single bronze base that is textured like natural rock, which in turn sits on a rectangular, polished black pedestal. The background is a clean, solid gray. The lighting highlights the lustrous, reddish-brown hues of the bronze, creating a sense of depth and form.
