Bizarre oil painting, highly detailed, of a man drowning in a swirling vortex of twenty-pound notes. His face shows a mix of terror and avarice. Dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, rich, dark colour palette with glowing green accents from the money. In the style of Francis Bacon meets Salvador Dalí. Tiny signature JKW
A man with dark, wet hair, a mustache, and a surprised expression on his face is submerged in water, with only his head visible above the surface. He is surrounded by numerous hundred-dollar bills floating on the water, some partially submerged and others fully visible. The bills are depicted with detailed portraits, resembling U.S. currency, and some appear to be wet or slightly crumpled. The background is dark and indistinct, focusing attention on the man and the money. The lighting highlights the man's features and the textures of the bills and water. The overall impression is one of shock or being overwhelmed by money.
